AWIRules software automates the free
American War of Independence rules by Will McNally. You will need
a copy of these rules to understand the software.
AWIRules is an MS DOS program. AWIRules
runs as a DOS program under Windows/95/98/2000/NT/XP.
Navigation is by menus and once the Orders
of Battle have been set up the game runs just by clicking options
with the mouse.
It
is recommended when running under Windows, that AWIRules
be run in Full Screen mode. See the Readme file in the
download package on how to do this.
At this time AWIRules has not
been tested under Windows Vista, and may not run under
Windows Vista. If not, it will run within the MSDOS
emulator program DOSBOX. The Berthier Campaign Management
Software site has
a link to the DOSBOX download.
