AWIRules software automates the free American War of Independence rules by Will McNally. You will need a copy of these rules to understand the software.

Navigation is by menus and once the Orders of Battle have been typed in the game runs solely by clicking options with the mouse.
AWIRules is an small stand alone MS Windows program.
There is also an earlier MS DOS version which can be downloaded here. In conjunction with the MSDOS emulator program DOSBOX this version can also run under Max OS X or Linux operating systems. See the DOSBox web page here.
